“I failed.” Here goes that revolving door again. Just another typical day for the life of an entrepreneur. One minute things make sense and the next second you are questioning your entire life. Some mornings you wake up super motivated and then half way through the morning all the energy can be instantly sucked out of you. I may still be very new at this but I’m definitely going through my fair share of ups and downs. Lord knows I don’t know what I would do without my faith. It’s in moments like this one that I have to remind myself that I’m not just in it for myself and this past Friday the Lord reminded me just of that. All that morning, well literally all this past week, I had been running around focusing on getting things together for upcoming events for my business. As well as anticipating the arrival of my friend’s baby (I was on call to babysit her firstborn), when suddenly I was stopped for an appointment I had no idea I was on time for. I ran into a lady that I had met about three weeks ago at an event where she purchased my product, and during our kind exchange I had the chance to share with her the wonderful things God had done in my life. So when I waved to her from across the market her reaction, the look on her face, and needless to say her response said it all. The impact I unknowingly had on her life pricked my soul just enough to help me continue on and push through this present trying time.
There’s a post on the internet that reads,
“Somebody, somewhere is depending on you to do what God has called you to do.”
I’m not sure if you’re that somebody but this is something I have been trying to run from for some time now but I just can’t seem to escape it. Just like others I question my sanity daily. Going through it isn’t always easy but if it’s for the Lord then I know it’s worth it.
Just to be brief, I will be simply inputting entries frequently of what’s placed on my heart. the forum will be strictly informal. I find writing to be very therapeutic and I’m in a space in my journey where I would like to share my experiences. I’m committed to being as open and vulnerable as possible. You will get every aspect of me from being a mom, daughter, sister, aunt, friend, entrepreneur, and servant of God.
So this is my blog. Welcome! I may not be in it 100% for myself but I’m in it 100% for you! Enjoy.
